CT-xover1/PCB schematicAs a part of DACT’s business we are working as consultants for speaker system manufacturers (see more on the dedicated page).
Consequently, we often build speaker crossover prototypes. To make crossover prototyping easy we have designed a flexible crossover PCB called CT-xover1/PCB. CT-xover1/PCB accommodates several different 2-way crossover configurations and combining more than one of the boards allows building multi-way speaker crossovers.
CT-xover1/PCB is designed for bi-wiring on the input side as there are separate inputs for woofer and tweeter sections. The layout is even made so that the PCB may be cut into to halves - one for the tweeter crossover and one for the woofer crossover. In case bi-wiring is not required the two set of inputs may simple be connected by two jumpers.
Below is shown the different crossover configurations that may be realized on the board as it is supplied. By drilling a few extra holes and/or cutting a couple of traces, many more crossover types than shown may be built on CT-xover1/PCB.

Blue: Holes for strapping the components to the board.
