Kunde: For a long time I have used battery powers supplies, but since 2-3 months I have an AC mains powersupply. It is a simple concept and all filtered. The output2x+/-28V is protected with 50mA fuses. This has also been functioning well unti today 18-1-03.All fuse burned while the preamp was on. I have no idea what happend. I was using it and went away leaving all power on (this I often do). When I came back all fuses were burned. I tested the C-100 one channel with 2x9V. The current was 120mA and the voltage dropped fast Transitor T21 became warm. I cannot find any short circuit in the transitrs or the IC's and all eletronical parts look OK NLE:

Kunde: I purchased a CT100 at August 2002. I was very satisfied untill last night. I turned it on and one channel was not playing. I checked the input power and it is ok. I use 2 separate banks of + - 12V dc Lead Acid Gel BATARIES. I crossed the compelete channels and the same channel still not operating. NLE: Printbaner overbrændt mellem 0-Volt på stik og flad stelterminal. (Defekt strømforsyning har været tilsluttet). Printbaner genetableret og 3 komponenter skiftet

Kunde: 2 stk CT100 modtaget fra DACT var begge beskadiget under transport, efter sigende pga. for daarlig emballering. Tilsyneladende et spoergsmaal om at de store el-lytter var braekket af. Kunden reparerede selv den ene CT100 ved at bruge ikke-defekte lytter fra den anden CT100. Den returnerede CT100 vil derfor mangle en eller flere lytter. NLE: El-lytter skævvredet. 2 el-lytter skiftet.

Kunde:Does the same happen again if you power off for some time and then turn on power again? Meaning is the CT100 still OK for the first couple of minutes? Yes, if I power off for a few minutes and then on It will sound OK for one or two minutes then goes bad. What kind of power supply do you use? 18 volts dc battery PSU. Single supply for both channels. Left channel seems OK. What kind of wires do you use for audio signal out? Are the wires shielded or non-shielded? I´m using Cardas 33ga. direct from cartridge clips to the phono input connectors. shielded and motor w/ separate ground cable to lower emf. For how long have you been using CT100 without problems?
